My name is Jennifer Carroll and I am a Kripalu RYT-200 Yoga, Stoked Yogi SUP Yoga and Paddlefit certified instructor with years of experience guiding community based yoga and meditation classes in the Hamptons. It is my mission to empower people in communities to make positive transformation in body, mind and spirit through the teachings of yoga and meditation. Which is why we would love to invite you and your guests to join me every Saturday and Sunday morning at Crescent Beach for Morning Beach Yoga.
There is no better way to start the day than by grounding your feet in the sand, with the warmth of the sun, scent of the salt air, breathtaking views of Crescent Beach and a guided yoga experience to center yourself, wake up the body and mind and prepare for your day.
Beach Yoga is a drop-in class, that requires pre-registration. All levels of practice are welcome to attend these low impact, gentle classes which will have a focus on coordinating breath with movement, improving overall fitness, including building strength, balance and flexibility.
Arrive early for check-in, bring a towel or small sheet to practice on (yoga mats are not recommended as we will be practicing directly on the sand), wear sunblock and bring water.
Stand-Up Paddle Board Yoga classes will be offered for individuals wishing to bring their yoga practice onto the water at exclusive locations around Shelter Island. This is a great way to get out on the water, enliven your mundane gym routine with an accessible but challenging experience.
