Loves the "Salt Life!" From the most exclusive places to paddle, to where to eat the best food and hear all the live music. Matty knows everything about the Shelter Island summer scene. While you are renting, ask him what to do around the island.
TARISSA
BEACHFRONT ASSOCIATE
There isn't better place to live and explore the outdoors than Shelter Island! Surrounded by sun, sand and water! You can catch this Brazilian in the white tent, usually drinking a smoothie. She loves all forms of exercise and most of all, playing with puppies!
SCOTT
ADVANCED INSTRUCTOR / TOUR GUIDE
Racing, training, teaching or just leisurely paddling, Scott loves every opportunity he gets to be on the water. After his first paddle in 2013 he was hooked. He quickly realized that paddling was more than a sport, it was a lifestyle and he is so pumped to be sharing his stoke with others through instruction.
FLYNN
BEACHFRONT ASSOCIATE
Brooklyn native and part fish. He will be in the white tent at Crescent Beach to help you with your paddling experience. Flynn was piratically raised at this beach, so don't hesitate to chat him up while he is getting you out on the water.
JEN
SUP YOGA / BEACH YOGA
Sharing her passion for yoga and combining her love for the water and sand. Jenn's style of teaching is done mindfully, by carefully interweaving qualities of awareness and compassion, bringing everyone a dynamic style of Hatha inspired yoga, that is challenging, safe and fun for everyone!
DAVID
BEACHFRONT ASSOCIATE
This college baseball player is here for the summer playing for the Shelter Island Bucks baseball team. He will also be in the white tent at Crescent Beach playing (paddling) for Venture Out.
DANIELLA
BEACHFRONT ASSOCIATE
This city girl will be at the beach on the weekends to take your reservations and ensure that you get out on the water right away. You can find her at the white tent in the middle of Crescent Beach.
TOM
TOUR GUIDE
Captain Tom and his First Mate Mako are back on "The Rock" this summer and is available for stand up paddle board tours or boat charters to any desired location. He has been part of the Venture Out family from our start in 2011. This Marine will ensure your experience is a top notch adventure.
